Saturday morning pancake breakfasts are still a tradition at most airports. And really, what can you say about a breakfast that costs just 6 bucks for adults and 3 for kids under 10, except how can you say no.
It’s a chance to show off the airplanes and the airport to the folks in the neighborhood and this week,on September 15th, it’s Wittman’s turn.
If you haven’t visited your airport lately, come on out to see some airplanes, meet some pilots share some food and take advantage of the free airplane rides organized by the EAA’s Young Eagles folks.
The center of all the action is the airport terminal on 20th avenue where you’ll find plenty of free parking. Breakfast begins at 7:30 and runs til 11AM. Young Eagles rides begin at 9 and run til 11 AM.
Don’t miss it. And don’t forget to bring a friend.
